John came by and provided the in-home estimate. He was very courteous and explained everything that needed to be done very clearly. We met with Michael at the show room on a Saturday, and he told us everything there is to know about the unit. He gave a great demonstration and was upfront about the unit options and differences. My experience working with Complete Chimneys was excellent from start to finish. The office staff are very polite, very professional and clearly knowledgeable of the details of the business. The service technicians, Joe and Dave arrived at the appointed time and efficiently performed the repairs to my chimney which included applying a crown coating and installing 3 flue caps. This work was performed on a high chimney only accessible by a very steep roof. A previous company was unequipped to perform this work and I was very fortunate to have finally contacted Complete Chimneys. What a great job!

Very happy with our Regency CI2700 fireplace insert. Had to wait almost 2 months for install because the manufacturer had stopped shipping new units for a brief time- but that was not Complete Chimneys fault. When the new unit had arrived, they were able to schedule us a few days early. What a surprise and delight to have a couple more nights to enjoy the fireplace.

Overall good job. Showed up on time, workers were professional and courteous and they charged what they quoted. One critique, I was given an estimate for three repairs. Asked if I could only do 2 of the repairs. I was told yes. The front office called and said I needed all 3 repairs done or they wouldn’t do any of the repairs. Felt a bit pressured to spend more money.

We had Complete Chimney come out for our fireplace/insert cleaning. Upon inspection Joe noticed a little damage to the flue. So instead of repairing the damage we decided to upgrade to a more efficient woodstove . Rene and Santiago came out to remove the insert and install the woodstove . Rene and Santiago were excellent and professional . They answered any questions that I had and were very respectful . I have tried other Chimney and Fireplace companies around the area and Complete Chimney is our new go to fireplace and chimney company . I also want to compliment everybody we dealt with in the store , they also were pleasant to deal with and the two Joe's that came out to our home for various reasons during the process.

Rene & Santiago were awesome! They were very respectful of my home while they removed my old firebox and liner and installed new. They did a fantastic job and were very gracious to answer all of my questions as they worked. They were able to finish the job in one day. Two days later Joe Lapp came and did a camera inspection to be sure all was good up the chimney before burning a fire. Overall, very happy with the service provided and love my new fireplace! We had to have our chimney relined. A great experience, easy to understand estimate with pictures and I was able to ask questions and get answers. The actual relining process could not have been more simple and clean and perfect. Highly recommended!

Joe Chalmers is the employee that cleaned our chimney. He advised that we should have a new chimney liner installed in the near future, to which we agreed. We settled on a date and cost. Mr. Chalmers completed the liner installation on the agreed date. He was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I have recommended your company to several others because I was so pleased with Mr. Chalmers work.

Everyone was wonderful when we did our recent fireplace install. Joe the tech who came out to give us the estimate was knowledgeable and helped us alot to narrow down exactly how we wanted the end product to look. Joe Lapp came out and inspected my chimney, which was leaking and needs to have the brick pointed and the cap restored. Joe was extremely thorough in his inspection, and after he reviewed the current condition of the chimney and the reasons for it's deteriorating condition, and he explained every repair option to me very clearly. I learned quite a bit about masonry and chimneys! I felt in very professional hands with Joe and felt confident in asking Complete chimneys to do the work.

They were great! The techs that came and did the repair were awesome. Jesse was amazing, very friendly and respectable. He answered any questions and had a amazing attitude. He showed he enjoyed his job and took pride in his work. The only issue was when I got the quote it wasn’t a full inspection but Complete did what was right and help straight everything out, it wasn’t fully their fault. I blame the lack of communication between me and the representatives on the phone. I may have not been completely clear with what I needed. If it wasn’t for that small hiccup I would have gave them a 5 star perfect rating. Would highly recommend for any of your Chimney needs.

I had a very old and unusually large chimney that took a custom made steel liner and a large lift to get it into the chimney. Ask for John, Rene and Jessie. They were professional and did an excellent job from beginning to end. Cleaned all spaces perfect. I bid the job out to 3 companies and Complete Chimney was by FAR the most knowledgeable, priced significantly lower and helped rent the lift I needed for the job. John the lift operator was trained by United Rental to be able to use the 80 ft lift needed to get up my steep front yard to get to the chimney. Becca and Megan in the office worked diligently with me to get the rental equipment and to schedule the job. Thank you, Complete Chimney!

Set up with cloths on our carpeting to prevent any soot damage. Joe took his time with the inspection and then explained each step showing us the camera footage AND explained what he was looking for and what we were seeing. I had a tremendous experience with this company. Our gas fireplace was not working and , of course, it is the busiest time of year for fireplace work so it would be over a month until they could get to us...which is understandable. I called a week or so after I made the appointment to ask a question and I was told that I was on their list for a service call if an opening would arise early. Now, she wasn't sure if a spot would in fact open up that day but it seemed like one might and she would give me a call either way...and so it worked out that a serviceman, John Golden, came to our house within an hour of the phone call to clean and repair our unit. John was the consummate professional. Capable, efficient and just a really nice guy! He explained what he was doing and taught me what I could do in case the same thing happened again. So, from the beginning phone call to the service call, I only experienced professionalism, kindness and capability. 5 stars!!

I went there to check out their Traeger supplies and was not disappointed. There was more Traeger accessories and pellets than any other place I have been. This will definitely be the place I continue to go to and recommend to anyone who has a Traeger.

Stick with me here as you will see how far above and beyond this crew is willing to go to "make it right". We have a 100 year old house, that had a 30 year old prefab fireplace in the back addition. Our primary concern was with safety and sought to repair or replace the unit after a thorough inspection. The detailed advice that we received on replacing the unit for safety reasons was informative and comforting. Unfortunately the original plan, to replace the unit in place, did not meet the high safety standards insisted upon by the business owner, Mike, due to the proximity of a historic mantle that is an important feature of the room. To make the installation work, the Complete team of Rene and Santi came out to move the mantle and completed extensive woodworking, trim and paint work to ensure that the mantle adjustment fit the design and detail of the room. All of this, without any questions about the original quote and any drama about how to best ensure that the new installation met the historic feel of the room. This team made us feel confident on design, safety, service and value...an exceedingly tough bar to cross on all fronts. Give these folks your business...you won't be disappointed.

Complete Chimneys has the greatest Treager showroom I’ve ever seen. They have every grill and accessory in stock including rubs, tools and pellets. Michael was extremely knowledgeable about all of their products and his team was very helpful when I needed this monster grill loaded up in my pickup (they also deliver). These guys know what they’re doing when it comes to Treager Grills!

Today was the second time I used them. First about 18 months ago to clean my chimney (Matt), and then today, probably the hottest day of the year, to replace the chimney chase (Joey). We recently purchased a new Regency Hi 2451 from Complete Chimneys to replace a 30+-year-old wood stove. Michael Galvin, the Showroom Sales Manager was very informative and helped us understand the changes that have occurred over the years regarding wood stoves versus inserts as well as the current 2020 regulations that apply to wood-burning devices. He worked with Gordon Brandt from Regency Fireplace Products to answer questions we had regarding efficiencies of various units and to find the unit that best met our price range and the appearance we desired. The installation team arrived on schedule. They worked steadily, took precautions to protect the room and furnishings where the insert was installed, and assured we were satisfied with the installation before leaving. Although we’ll not be using the insert for a few months because of it being installed in warm weather, the overall performance of the personnel from Complete Chimneys and Regency Fireplace Products gives us great confidence that the new Regency Hi 2451 will serve us well.

I called Complete Chimneys and spoke with Michael--the sales manager --a few days ago. I was looking into the installation of a very specific type of gas fireplace for a potential remodel in our house. Given the social distancing right now, he asked me to send pictures of a few areas (existing fireplace, back wall, roofline vent). He was SO informative and helpful and answered all of my questions. He did some additional research and called me back today. It appears my original request will be out of our price range, but he continued to offer suggestions and options. While every company needs to make a profit, it speaks so well when a company is willing to be helpful even when they might not make money on every consultation. The Devon Hill Condominium Association hired Complete Chimneys to restore 6 150-year-old chimneys high on the roof of a 19th-century mansion house. Several contractors looked at the job and said it was beyond their capability. We hired Complete chimneys largely based on their very competitive price and good reviews. Their work was superb. The chimneys are in outstanding condition and the caps have been properly restored. They cleaned up meticulously after their work and were delightful guests on our property. They had to put up scaffolding separately for each chimney, and this work was done with a minimum of disruption to the residents.

The company sent out 2 techs, lead tech was Joey. They worked really well together. Took precautions to keep my home clean. Checked out a problematic wood burning fireplace insert, thoroughly checking the insert, chimney, liner and cap. Although my sister in law swears I don’t know how to work a damper, Joey assured me I was doing everything right. Unfortunately the old insert just doesn’t appear to work well. I felt they were through while on the phone and then when they showed up on time as promised with an estImate that was fair they then charged me less than the estimate since the job was not as complicated as expected. I am completely happy with Michael my sales person, Rene and Santi the install crew throughout the process of buying a wood fireplace insert. I choose to upgrade from my masonry fireplace by adding the firebox to control the duration of the fire and pull as much heat from it back into the house. I was particular about the aesthetics of both the firebox and the chimney cap and the installation itself. I'm super happy on all fronts. Michael responded promptly to every email I sent asking questions. I was provided many reminders about the install time and date. The crew showed up exactly on time. They arrived looking ready to do a job in a terrifically wrapped truck with all the tools. They placed drop clothes from the entrance of the house all the way to the fireplace. They were engaged with every detail I asked about. They installed a new cap on top of my chimney and did a fantastic job treating that job as if it were something I'd pass everyday (its on the roof). They gave me chimney cap options at my request. I knew I was dealing with a quality company that cares deeply when after the last fire brick was placed in the new box, they noticed that the mfg had missed a weld. They ordered and picked up another box the same day, removed the box that had a deficiency, and installed another one all before the end of the day. I've never experienced such great effort, skill, and willingness to please. Thanks crew.

Complete Chimneys was great to work with, professional, on time, and honest. Joe Lapp inspected, cleaned and did some minor repair work on my wood burning fire place. Joe and his assistant were on time and cleaned and repaired less than an hour. The price for the minor repair was very reasonable and less than another chimney company I had service work done in the past. He was also honest about what needed to be done. I highly recommend.

My chimney was not working properly after I first moved into my new home a little more than a year ago. Eventually, I called a company to come out and perform basic maintenance on the chimney with the hopes of diagnosing the problem (smoke was pouring back into the house). This other company - NOT Complete Chimneys LLC - said that the damper was too small and that there is no possible way the chimney would ever function properly because of this structural flaw. This did not seem right because the chimney had obviously been used by the previous homeowner, so something didn't seem right. They provided an estimate of more than $1,300 to fix the issue (widening the damper). I then called Complete Chimneys to offer a second opinion. They came to our home free of charge, not even charging a general service fee, inspected the chimney to discover that the damper simply wasn't opening as far as it was intended to. They fixed the issue in a matter of minutes and still didn't even expect payment. The two gentlemen, Emory and Matt, couldn't have been more professional or courteous. I will undoubtedly use them again for routine maintenance and any other issues that arise. Fair and honest people doing wonderful work!

We bought a Bellavista gas fireplace from you last year and we are 100% happy with it. I was impressed with Complete Chimneys. First, I have called multiple chimney sweeps during the busy season and either received no reply or an unacceptable appointment date (#monthsaway). I made an online appointment for sweeping my brick fireplace on Kent Island. The morning of the appointment, I called to make sure I was on their books. I was not, but Sara, quickly fixed the issue and sent two technicians out within 2 hours. I had a sweep and camera inspection. The technicians showed me directly on the camera the issues with my chimney and recommended I not use the fireplace. All estimates and photos of chimney were sent via e-mail. However, they agreed to roll the price of my sweep and camera inspection into the price of a new insert and install. I was already looking to install a Wood Burning insert in the future. Joe and Joe set me up with a detailed complete estimate on the spot. In addition, while speaking with Joe, I asked a question that he did not know the answer to. He admitted that he was a new technician and would not give me just any answer. Joe contacted a more experienced technician and got the correct answer. I really respected that. I am so glad that I selected Complete Chimneys to supply and install the two Regency fireplaces in our home that we recently remodeled. This was a unique project that involved installing gas fireplaces in new construction openings and required working within a tight timeline with my General Contractor and the fireplace manufacturer to confirm proper framing and venting requirements. The scheduling process was so easy. The girls in the office who set me up were so knowledgeable on helping me figure out exactly what I needed. When the chimney sweep got there he was very helpful in figuring out my issues with my chimney and was able to provide me with a estimate right away. I was even able to schedule the work in the same week as my initial appointment. Very satisfied.

The crew of Complete Chimneys LLC was quick, efficient, and friendly. I ordered a sweep and inspection, and scheduled the appointment online, which was convenient. They ended up charging me less than what the coupon said, based on my needs after the team arrived. They did recommend some repairs to the top of the chimney, and showed me pictures that they took during the inspection (from up on the roof). They did not push me to take their quote, but offered it and agreed to count the cost of the sweep and inspection in the down payment. During the sweep, the tech showed me the resulting powder from the cleaning, and told me that our wood burning habits were good, as the powder was fine and exactly what should be expected from a sweep. The team was knowledgeable about the area (Arnold/Severna Park) and explained why the repair was needed and what they would do. They also recommended an every other year sweep schedule based on the frequency in which we use the fireplace. Although I am getting another quote for the chimney repair, I am inclined to use this company as they were forthright, punctual, easy to work with, and friendly. They will certainly get my sweeping business in two years.

I had a challenging installation so I initially contacted 3 local fireplace companies. Complete Chimney was the only company that took the time to provide the installation that I wanted, not what was easy for them. It started with Mike Galvin in the showroom. This man put in hours of back-end work to research multiple fireplace units for my unique installation. We located a unit that they didn't install on a regular basis, so he spent even more time to ensure the safety and overall functionality of the system. Recently we had our fireplace relined. Joe was very professional and courteous..and gave us estimates for the job. 2 service people came on 5/22/19 to reline and redo the Crown. They too were pleasant and professional and cleaned up after the work. 5/23/19 I spoke with Mike ( showroom) and he helped me walk through how to restart my pilot light. I had an excellent experience with Complete Chimneys! It started with an email to Michael in the showroom. He quoted me a price on a gas insert first--it turned out that I really wanted an electric log set (Dimplex). He didn't try to turn me off to this (much) cheaper option. The entire transaction was set up via email. He was not pushy at all! It did not take long for the order to arrive and the technician, Jabolo to install the unit. He took his time (yet did not linger or procrastinate) and explained things to me. He was very friendly as well. Overall, it was a great experience dealing with this company. I would do it again for my next fireplace/chimney needs. Michael even followed up with me today to see if everything was to my satisfaction. This came in at the right time--ready for the NCAA tournament and Opening Day for MLB. What a great finishing touch for my basement den!
